Joe joined Peak Asset Management, LLC, in October 2006 and became a principal in April 2007. Prior to joining Peak Asset Management, Joe was a portfolio manager for Wells Fargo in Denver. Prior to Wells Fargo, Joe was a mutual fund portfolio manager with Meridian Investment Management which later became ICON Advisors. He has managed individual client portfolios for over 13 years. Joe earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1997 after completing three years of study and examinations, along with all work related requirements. He passed the Certified Public Account (CPA) exam for the state of Colorado in 2000 and in 2006 passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston College and an MBA with an emphasis in accounting from the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver.
