Tara joined Peak Asset Management, LLC in July, 2007 and became a principal in April, 2009. She worked as an Interest Rate Risk Officer for ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in Chicago where she modeled, measured and monitored the interest rate risk of a $2 billion mortgage servicing portfolio and a $37 billion notional hedging portfolio. After returning to Colorado, Tara was a business valuation analyst and manager for an independent business valuation firm, Quist Valuation. Tara earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003 after completing three years of study and examinations, along with all work-related requirements. In 2004, she further earned the right to use the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation. Tara holds a Bachelor degree in Finance with a Specialization in International Business from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
